Amber Cordon and the Poppy Appeal

When Amber Cordon strolled into Morrisons she had no idea of the impact she would make. Placed within Morrisons and tended by ex-service men and women was a Poppy Appeal stand. Upon seeing it Amber knew she had to help.

Amber spent hours stood shoulder to shoulder with ex-service members raising money for this amazing charity, voluntarily giving up her evening and weekends.

A service was held within Morrisons at 11 o’clock on the 11th November and due to her outstanding selflessness Amber was given the honour of being the standard bearer for the British Flag.

Matthew Stockton and Robert Toth

Matthew and Robert  have independently bought and sold Pudsey wristbands during breaks to raise money for Children in Need. Matthew took the lead with the help of his parents and between them, they have raised  £131.25 in total.  A fantastic effort from both them and their team of fundraisers! Very well done!
