Simon Turney, Principal of Tamworth Enterprise College, was extremely pleased with the examination outcomes for the Year 11 students. As always, he said, the hard work of our students and staff has been rewarded with some really pleasing results with many students achieving the highest grades possible including a grade 9 in maths for Molly Castagna.

Of particular note were Anastasia Brendan who achieved 5 A*and 4 A grades; Molly Castagna who achieved 3 A* and 5 A grades; Khizar Ahmed who achieved 2 A* and 4 A grades; Phoebe Parrish who achieved 1A* and 6A grades; Emily Shotton who achieved 2 A* and 4 A grades; Shannon O’Loughlin who achieved 6 A grades; Bethany Carroll who achieved 1 A* and 4 A grades; Andrew James who achieved 5 A grades and Gracie-Jane Knowles who achieved 5 A grades.

He went on to say that in the context of changes to way the grades are being reported and the introduction of harder examinations the Belgrave community should continue to have great confidence in our ability to provide an excellent and rounded education providing a springboard for Post 16 opportunities which this year sees our students moving to selective entry Grammar Schools, Tamworth Sixth Form, FE College, Apprenticeships and employment.
